Imagine that the baby you hold now will someday want to tell your first grandchild what it was like when he or she was growing up. Our portraits will help you illustrate the story.

    Make it last Forever

Exclusive to Santa Clarita Photographic Studio is the Miracle of Life Portrait™ -- a time-study of an expectant mother. It’s classic portraiture, and always done in good taste.

Yoti Telio created the Miracle of Life Portrait™ in 2001.

“The mother-to-be comes into our studio and we photograph her at three months, six months and nine months,” he says. “We use the exact same lighting and angle each time. The only thing that changes is the size of the baby within her, and her expanding middle.”

After the baby is born, Yoti continues, “We make a beautiful montage of images from all these stages of pregnancy with the first picture of the infant. At the bottom of the image, we list the baby’s name, birth date and all the other birth statistics.”

Why is this so important? “All the research I’ve read and all my experience tells me that when a child sees a photograph of their mom pregnant, it subconsciously tells the child, without having to ask any questions, that they were wanted and loved before they were even born. Knowing this, the child grows stronger. This is very, very powerful.”
